Her parents lovingly called her Boo. She was a philosopher by schooling, a talented and unique artist, an environmentalist, and a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, wife, and beloved friend. Born at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Queens, Ron became passionate about equitable education, the arts, and the importance of starting Montessori learning at a young age for all children. Most recently, Ron devoted much of her life to helping many children across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and The Bronx achieve admission into New York City’s coveted specialized high schools through her position and vocation as a patient and extraordinary tutor. She heavily supported her own grass-roots efforts to introduce philosophy as a central subject into classrooms from middle school through university. She has very happily worked as a tutor in Park Slope, Brooklyn since 2022. Ronhitha is survived by her grandparents, father, mother, brother, sister, aunt and uncle, cousins, and husband. May she rest in peace.
