Ron, you were my inspiration for living a happy life. I remember as teenagers, how much we struggled and how we didn't think we would make it out of those dark times. But you did.
You went out and saw the world. You built a career for yourself. You got married and I was able to see you full of happiness. Even days before we lost you, you tried your best to smile.
I read the words you wrote to me when I can bear it. All I have to say is thank you.
Thank you for being my friend. For showing me that there is always light in the darkness. I still feel your light, even if it is far.

The very first time we met Ron, we could see that there was something very special about her. She had a glow about her that said she was a very sweet and kind person. She loved people and her passion was the job she did to help so many children to achieve their ability to learn.
Ron will be missed by us deeply.

Q: How did you meet Ronhitha?
A: I first met Ron during the fall 2024 semester in a class we had together. Out of every person in the class, she stood out to me the most. She had colorful hair and such a nice smile. She was someone who was always a positive and outgoing person, and her personality was bubbly. We weren’t friends but she was so kind to me. She helped me whenever I needed help. I always felt so comfortable around her. When I heard the news of Ron’s passing, I was in completely shock. May she rest in peace.

Q: What 3 words best describe Ronhitha and why?
A: Ron had an incredible gift—a rare blend of creativity, charisma, and intelligence. I was deeply moved by her philosophical views on life, especially her passionate insights into the education system. Her love for teaching was undeniable, and watching her connect with the children was nothing short of magical. She had a way of making everyone around her feel inspired and uplifted. Ron was a fellow classmate of mine at John Jay College. She inspired myself and many fellow classmates. I was first introduced to Ron in my Intro to Philosophy class.
