Sal was a really special person and meant so much to my family and I. He and my dad (Charlie) were best friends and so are Teresa and my mom (Margaret), and my sister and I always considered Vince, Michael, and James as cousins--and we certainly considered Teresa an aunt and Sal an uncle. Proof that you don't always need blood to be family. Sal was intertwined in so many areas of my life when I really sit back and think about it. From the numerous people I met through him (his wonderful family and many friends), to his love of Molloy (where I went to high school and where I currently work), to all the adventures and fun times we have had over the years, he will never be forgotten. Sal and the Mauro clan (including his daughters-in-law, grandchildren, and the Kellys) are truly incredible people. Sending much love to the Mauros. Love, Jonathan
