Dr. Cholakian saved my life when I was going to give birth to my baby girl if it wasn’t for him a tragedy would of occurred that day and I probably would of loss my life or my baby girl if he had not come in to the labor room stepping his ground with the dr that wanted me to give birth to my daughter being breach I don’t know what would of happened I will forever be thankful for his care while my pregnancy and for saving my life may you test in peace you were an amazing Dr. my deepest condolences to the family always be remembered ❤️

Through my second pregnancy, there isn’t a day I don’t sing your name in praises and question your early departure from this world. Such a kind soul, so wise, so humble, always treated me like family and extended a helping hand, a kind word, a compassionate piece of advice. I appreciate everything you did for my family, Dr. Cholakian and am heartbroken that you will not be here to deliver my second baby. No one would take a patient with no insurance coming from abroad at 8 months. No one would rush to the hospital in the middle of the night on a Sunday to deliver a baby after he had just finished a delivery. That was him—always put his patients over himself. May God continue to bless his family and bring him peace wherever he is.

I am truly heartbroken. After receiving his letter that he wouldn’t be seeing patients, I haven’t seen another Ob/Gyn since. He will be truly missed. He was my doctor for 18 years. I am filled with so much sadness to learn of Dr. Cholakian's passing. Dr. Cholakian had been my ob/gyn for over 20 years - as a matter of fact, my only ob/gyn until his practice closed. I was devastated to know that he would no longer be practicing but I am very grateful to have had the chance to speak to him one last time in June 2018. He was the consummate professional - he was empathetic, he was kind, he was caring and he was gentle. He was not a man of many words but was always pleasant and had the best bedside manners. I was extremely blessed to be a patient and even more blessed in having him deliver my most precious gift in 2012 - my daughter.
My deepest and most heartfelt condolences go out to Dr. Cholakian's family during this difficult time. May you find comfort in the memories and joy you shared. Heaven has gained an angel.
Rest well Dr. Ohanes K. Cholakian. Sleep now in eternal peace.

My heart is aching and sadden that I have to write this condolence letter. It is so sad that Dr.Cholakian had to leave this world and be the healer in heavens. I have been Dr. Cholakian's patient for 13 years, he delivered 3 out 4 of my children. If it wasn't for Dr. Cholakian's professionalism, intelligence, caring, punctual, kind-hearted personality, I wouldn't be writing this message. He's an amazing person and a doctor who always took his time to listen to his patients carefully and to provide the most optimal treatment care. Every time it was time for me to deliver the baby, he would always be first in the hospital and waiting for his patients and personally delivering my children. He cared for his patients with love, passion, care, and compassionate. He always makes sure that his patients are comfortable before, during and after the birth of their child. No matter at what time of the hour patients call him, he was always ready like he never slept and always had his phone by his side. I was going through my baby pictures album and seeing the pictures that I took with him, you could see that he enjoyed and loved his work. He performed his work very clean and neat and I never had any complications after births thanks to him. All of my children were born healthy. I trusted Dr.Cholakians professionalism every time when it came to my treatment plan. His office was always packed with patients and patients had to wait for hours to see him without complaining about, it's because they knew that he does his work efficiently and effectively and not rushing through. My prayers and condolences go out to the family. Time is healing. He's in the better place now. May he rest in peace!!
