To my great grandfather…
Thank you for being so loving and patient with me. I was your buddy and you were mine. Yes I grew up but whenever I could I would bug my mom to take me so we could ride on your (what I used to think) was a motor cycle later I was told it was your special car because your legs were weak. You gave me something special which I carry to this day with me everywhere I go and my mom says I’m silly but I made a pinky promise to you that I will make you and great grandma proud. I’m going to be graduating high school and going to college soon and I know you guys will be right by my side. I will never forget the times you took me to McDonald’s or our elaborate singing sessions in the backyard while I watched you meddle with your tools. I am the man I am today because of you my mom and sweet grandma. I will miss you guys so much.♥️

Rest in peace papi Enrique! Memories will live on forever. My favorite was always going to appointments so that I could help translate, it was the best way I became bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish.

A Dios le placio llamarte a tu hogar celestial ayer, 5/20/24. Dios recojio tu alma con un silvo apacible, mientras tu dormias, en tu cama y en tu hogar, acompanado de tu familia y de tu cuidadora personal ( Aide). Gracias Senor Jesus porque asi fue. Yo se que tu estas en un mejor lugar donde no hay sufrimiento, llanto, ni mas dolor. Tengo la certeza y conviccion que tu estas en un lugar especial, en la presencia de Dios, al igual que tu esposa y querida madre. Gracias Senor Jesus porque nos lo distes por casi 90 anos. Gracias Senor por mis dos hermanos menores que les distes la voluntad, salud y fuerzas fisicas para poder cuidarlo abnegadamente, con amor y dedicacion, hasta el fin de su vida terrenal. Gracias Senor por mis otros hermanos carnales que de alguna manera u otra ayudaron con su cuidado. Gracias Senor por su cuidadora personal que lo cuido con amor y compasion. Gracias Senor por mis hermanos en Cristo, por sus oraciones y apoyo espiritual. Gracias Senor por todo lo que haces, has hecho y haras.
