Obituary of Marianne E Albert

Please share a memory of Marianne to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Marianne Albert, 82, of Forest Hills, NY passed away Saturday March 9, 2024. Marianne was born 6/6/1941 to German immigrants (Peter and Elizabeth) and lived in Forest Hills her whole life where she married Michael and raised her three daughters. She was very religious, loved to say the rosary and was a eucharistic minister at Our Lady of Mercy parish. Loving the mountains, fresh air and country life, she made sure that her children spent at least part of their summers both in upstate New York and at a resort in Connecticut. She also loved to cook, read (especially mystery books) and work on math and logic crossword puzzles. When her children were grown, she went back to college and earned a master's degree after which she taught math at St John's University. Although everyone will miss her dearly, she is finally free from pain and reunited with her husband. She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael and survived by her three daughters, Mary, Milissa and Maureen and her two granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Kristen.
