Obituary of Mario Daniele Asaro

Mario Asaro – devoted father, husband, son, and brother, died Thursday, April 22, 2021, at his home in Queens, New York. He was 43. Born January 8, 1978, to Camillo Asaro and Paola Genna Asaro, Mario was the embodiment of service and love. Anyone who crossed Mario’s path instantly became his friend, and Mario treated every friend as family. He was affectionate, cheerful, easygoing, and the best storyteller. He brought energy and laughter to every room he entered. It was a joy to share a meal with him. He was an entrepreneur and mentor to many. His life was a living example of the Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 – “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” He will be sorely missed. Mario is survived by his wife, Jessica Tornatore Asaro; his children, Milana and Luca; his parents, Camillo and Paola Asaro; his brothers, Santino (Katie), Sergio, and Alessio; and many aunts, uncles, cousins. Mario's children adored him, and his family will ensure that they grow up feeling his eternal love.
