Miss Quinn was my principal at Great Neck Road Elementary when I started Kindergarten in 1971. She was a firm but fair woman. She could quiet the entire school in the gym just with her presence. She never had to raise her voice though. I can still see her outside in the morning to greet the children arriving in the morning and standing there in the afternoon until the last student had left. I believe she truly loved what she did.
