Obituary of Gerard Vincent Cafaro

In Loving Memory of Gerard Vincent Cafaro January 22, 1950 – June 15, 2025 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gerard “Gerry” Vincent Cafaro. Gerry was a devoted father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend to many. Gerry was born in Brooklyn, New York on January 22, 1950, to Virginia and Aurelio Cafaro. He was steadfast, charismatic, witty, and sincere. He showed his love through actions – through his loyalty, his protection, and the pride he carried for his family. He was regularly surrounded by great friends - loving life, travel, food, and drink. He was a father you could count on, a friend you could trust, and someone who lived life fully and on his own terms. Gerry was focused and hardworking and it guided him to lead and succeed in a career as a funeral director. During his career, he brought compassion, dignity, and grace to countless families during their most difficult times. Above all else, Gerry cherished his family. He was a loving and supportive father to his three children and his cherished son-in-law: Gregory Cafaro, Andrea (Todd) McKee, and Jeanine Cafaro, and an adoring grandfather to his three granddaughters, Leah, Madelyn, and Nina. He took immense pride in their accomplishments and found joy in every moment he spent with them. His legacy will forever live on through the countless lives he touched and the many lessons he taught us.
